Application

ActiTide-BT1 combination of a vitaminated matrikine (biotinyl-GHK) with apigenin (a flavonoid from citrus) and oleanolic acid from olive tree leaves. ActiTide-BT1 is a kind of tripeptide which can stimulate collagen IV and laminin 5 synthesis, hair follicle dermal fixation, prevent hair loss.

Application and Characteristics: ActiTide-BT1 is clear to slightly opalescent liquid which is always applied to hair care products, shampoos, conditioners, leave-on, lotions mask and so on.

Functions: Reducing synthesis of DHT, prompting blood circulation and strengthening hair

Component: Biotinyl-GHK, apigenin, oleanolic acid.

Recommended use level: 3-5% below 40 oC

ActiTide-BT1 is a potent Anti-Hair Loss complex that targets the three phenomena responsible for hair loss:

• 5α-reductase, which converts testosterone to DHT

• Inadequate blood perfusion

• Failing anchorage of the hair in the dermal papilla.

ActiTide-BT1 consists of 3 active substances which act together:

• peptide Biotinyl-GHK, a Matrikine, which acts on the anchoring of the hair thanks to adhesion proteins

• apigenin, a citrus extract flavonoid with a vasodilatory effect

• oleanolic acid, extracted from roots of Loveyly Hemsleya, which inhibits the production of dihydrotestosterone via 5α−reductase.

The above set of analysis enables confirmation that ActiTide-BT1 acts by promoting enhanced anchorage of telogen hair in the dermis via regeneration of the root sheath. ActiTide-BT1 thus slows hair loss and improves the health of hair follicles.
